It started when my other half was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and I was determined to get him off pharmaceuticals – and neutriceuticals – as quickly as possible. Since he has the eating habits of a 12 year old (don’t they all?), he wanted his cookies and muffins and other goodies that he couldn’t live without – but which were now officially off the menu, thanks to the Type 2 diabetes.

Heads to the kitchen and comes up with a line of sweeties for her sweetie that are much lower in calories; have low glycemic levels – and taste damn close to what he’s used to and some say, even better than the so-called real thing.
